The Parish of Wenvoe with St Lythans is situated at the eastern end of the Vale of Glamorgan, about seven miles west of the City of Cardiff. There are two churches within the parish; St Mary's Church is situated in the centre of the village of Wenvoe whilst the church at St Lythans lies in a hamlet on the top of a hill some two miles away.
